June 20 Title- God is with us even when we feel Lonely

Today’s scripture Lamentations 3:17 comes at the end of a passionate expression of sorrow —an anguished cry to God. The speaker of this lament has “forgotten what happiness is” (He feels trapped, unheard, desolate. Yet despite his pain, he finds hope in recalling what he knows about God. 


Many people finding it hard to wait on your timing, Lord. Help me believe that you are going to deliver me.

Lamentations 3:17 Read in the ESV, ICB, and ASV. 

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.” The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.”

Lamentations 3:22-25 ESV


“The Lord’s love never ends. His mercies never stop. They are new every morning. Lord, your loyalty is great. I say to myself, “The Lord is what I have left. So I have hope.” The Lord is good to those who put their hope in him. He is good to those who look to him for help.”

Lamentations 3:22-25 ICB


“It is of Jehovah’s lovingkindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness. Jehovah is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. Jehovah is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.”

Question and Meditation. 

Do you find it hard to wait on gods timing.? Ask god to Help you believe he will deliver you. Ask God to use his Word to give you hope.
